Taichung singles event achieves 89.5% matchmaking rate

Taichung City's Civil Affairs Bureau, in collaboration with the Wuri District Household Registration Office, hosted a singles' matchmaking event titled "Sea Breeze Mystery, Wu Le Heartbeat." The event brought together 39 single individuals for a romantic journey in the coastal town, blending cultural exploration with interactive activities.

Participants engaged in a cultural walk through Wuri's old street, a real-life puzzle-solving challenge, and a DIY marine sand painting session. The activities were designed to foster a relaxed, fun, and warm atmosphere, encouraging participants to build rapport and potentially find romantic connections.

The event successfully matched 17 couples, achieving an impressive 89.5% matchmaking rate. Civil Affairs Bureau Director Wu Shi-wei highlighted the event's focus on the coastal scenery and cultural heritage of Wuri, aiming to create moments of connection through shared experiences.

Wuri Household Registration Office Director Wu Jin-ling added that the event linked Wuri Old Street with the Wu Le New Innovation Park, creating a journey filled with culture, fun, and romance. Through value assessments and interactive games, participants were guided to naturally express their personalities, leading to connections with like-minded individuals.

Some successfully matched participants shared that the event's relaxed atmosphere made it easy to connect. They expressed hope for future interactions and the potential for developing their relationships further. The Civil Affairs Bureau has planned 25 such events this year, with the first phase of 13 already fully booked and the second phase of 12 still having some openings.
