Tainan Dong District Redevelopment to Release Over 9,000 Ping of Residential and Commercial Land; Area Prices Stable at 400,000 NT Dollars

Tainan City Government is set to launch a significant urban redevelopment project in the Dong District, transforming the former Tainan Veterans Home site. This initiative, known as the Ji 35 land readjustment project, covers approximately 5.9189 hectares.

Upon completion, projected for 2029, the project will make available about 2.53 hectares of commercial land and 0.48 hectares of residential land, totaling over 9,105 ping. Additionally, approximately 2.90 hectares will be designated for public facilities. This large-scale redevelopment is one of the most substantial in the Dong District in recent years.

The area targeted for redevelopment is strategically located near the cultural center and the Chongming commercial district. Market research indicates that new residential projects in this vicinity are already commanding prices around 400,000 NT dollars per ping, reflecting the area's desirability and development potential.
