Tainan Liuying late-night fatal motorcycle crash: Rider falls after hitting stray dog, dies after being rushed to hospital

A fatal motorcycle accident occurred late Wednesday night in the Liuying District of Tainan, Taiwan, resulting in the death of a rider after a collision with a stray dog. The incident happened around 9 p.m. on Liuying Road as the motorcyclist was traveling south.

The 40-something male rider reportedly struck a stray dog, causing him to lose control of his motorcycle and fall heavily. The impact sent the rider and his bike skidding. The dog involved in the collision was reportedly injured and fled the scene.

Emergency services, including the Liuying Fire Brigade, responded to the scene. The rider had lost vital signs and was rushed to Liuying Chi Mei Hospital for emergency treatment, but he was pronounced dead.
