Tainan Students Shine at Inaugural Talent Carnival

The Liuying District in Tainan hosted its inaugural joint student talent carnival, themed "Art Together, Dreams Fly," at Liuying Junior High School. The event provided a vibrant stage for students from local elementary, junior high, and kindergarten schools to showcase their diverse skills and creativity.

The carnival kicked off with a lively lion dance performance by Liuying Junior High students, setting an energetic tone for the day. Following this, students from various schools presented a wide array of acts. These included cheerful dances by Xinrong, Better, and Huayi kindergartens, an English play by Xinshan Elementary School, powerful taiko drumming by Guoyi Elementary School, and energetic movement routines by Taikang Elementary School.

In the guidance and companionship of the school team, students in Liuying District have shown outstanding performance in art, music, sports, and diverse learning fields. Further highlights included ukulele and recorder performances by Chongxi Elementary School, alongside dynamic jump rope and diabolo shows by Liuying Elementary School. These performances demonstrated the students' multifaceted learning experiences and youthful vitality, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience. Additionally, Chongxi and Xinshan Elementary Schools set up natural ecology education booths, promoting environmental sustainability through leaf recycling and fostering students' technological literacy and observational skills.

Liuying District Chief Liu Fa-chung expressed his gratitude for the support from various parties, emphasizing the importance of creating a platform for children to express themselves and present their achievements to their hometown elders. He noted that the carnival not only showcased the district's achievements in arts education but also promoted inter-school exchange and learning, leaving students with precious memories.
