Fubon Guardians player Wang Yi-cheng has achieved his best single month in his career this May, with his batting average placing him in the league's top 10 for the month. His 14 RBIs also temporarily led the league, though he has since been surpassed by other players.

Wang, who turned 23 on May 1, expressed confidence in his current batting form. He noted that his recent surge in RBIs is largely thanks to teammates creating scoring opportunities before his at-bats. He acknowledged that other players like Mo-E and Su Chih-chieh have strong RBI capabilities, with Mo-E's recent performance nearly matching Wang's monthly total.

Mo-E originally had strong RBI ability. He scored 11 points in the last 3 games, which is almost the amount I scored in a month. Senior Su Chih-chieh is also a great hitter.

Having never played in an international competition, Wang is eager for a potential selection to the Taiwan team for the Asia Professional Baseball Championship later this year. He sees it as a significant experience for his baseball career and a chance to compete against international players. His immediate goal is to maintain his current performance throughout the season and contribute more to his team, aiming to make the national team through his performance.
