Taiwan's Han Kuang exercise uses psychological warfare vehicles and village broadcasts in Kinmen

As part of Taiwan's Han Kuang 42 military exercise, the Kinmen Defense Command has implemented innovative communication strategies, including the deployment of psychological warfare vehicles and the activation of village broadcast systems. This initiative aims to strengthen strategic communication and ensure public cooperation with military actions during potential defense scenarios.

The exercise on the third day focused on verifying the effectiveness of the village broadcast system. Village chiefs in areas like Banglin Village in Kinning Township and Xinshi Village in Kin Lake Township relayed military messages, urging residents to comply with military operations and traffic control measures. This approach leverages local community leaders to disseminate information efficiently.

To reach more remote areas where village broadcasts might not be effective, the artillery battalion deployed psychological warfare vehicles. These vehicles broadcast military messages along routes, reinforcing the concept of "limitless civilian power" and fostering a "military-civilian integration" to support combat readiness. This demonstrates the island's resilience and its capacity for independent operations.
