Taiwan Tourist Shuttle launches summer deals for Alishan routes

Taiwan's Alishan National Scenic Area Administration is rolling out a summer promotion to encourage tourism on its popular Taiwan Tourist Shuttle bus routes. The "Ride the Shuttle, Find the Deals" campaign aims to deepen local travel experiences by partnering with over 75 businesses along the Alishan, Ruili, and Taping routes.

Tourists can enjoy exclusive discounts at participating shops and eateries by identifying special "Discount Store" signs. Over 30 businesses now accept mobile payments, streamlining transactions for visitors. The promotion highlights the rich culinary, accommodation, sightseeing, and shopping attractions of the greater Alishan region.

Beyond regular offers, special weekend activities are planned for July and August. Visitors presenting a same-day Taiwan Tourist Shuttle ticket can redeem local gifts. In July, Saturday riders on the Ruili route can get a free "Pineapple Enzyme Jelly" at Shanpo Coffee, while Sunday riders on the Taping route receive a free Taping Skywalk ticket. In August, Saturday riders on the Alishan route can claim a free "Tea Egg" at Lizao Cafe.

The administration invites everyone to use public transport to explore Alishan during the summer. This initiative promotes low-carbon, sustainable tourism while supporting local industries and offering visitors memorable experiences and unique souvenirs.
