Taiwanese anchor filmed with former rumor partner after calling herself single

Taiwanese television anchor Chen Ya-lin, 60, has been filmed again with Liao Yu-hui, a man linked to her in a 2011 rumor that she previously denied.

Chen divorced former anchor Yu Chia-chang in 2006 after eight years of marriage. When reports connected her to Liao, the chairman of Taiwan’s tennis association and general manager of the Grand Hotel, she said they were only “friends who met through work” and insisted she was “definitely single.”

A CTWANT report later recorded Chen and Liao attending a massage appointment together. The pair reportedly returned separately and discreetly to the same luxury residence in Taipei’s Neihu district, leading the report to say their relationship appeared to remain close.

According to the report, Chen drove from her home in Keelung to the residence late one evening before going to a wellness center. Liao was also seen there. They left after the massage without obvious conversation or interaction, kept some distance from each other, and later returned to the residence separately. Liao was seen entering with an access card and leaving the next morning in slippers to buy breakfast, while Chen drove away at about 10 a.m.
