Taoyuan District Prosecutor's Office recently indicted the 60-year-old man, identified by the surname Lu, for violating the Sexual Harassment Prevention Act. The political candidate, Huang Shih-chieh, who is running for mayor of Taoyuan, stated that sexual harassment is unacceptable in any setting, whether in the workplace or elsewhere.

Huang expressed gratitude for the judiciary's swift investigation and legal process. He commended his assistant for her courage in reporting the incident and proceeding with legal action, acknowledging that it is not an easy decision.
