Taiwanese Star Liang Wen-fei Admits Past Support for Ko Wen-je, Now Feels 'Heartbroken'

Taiwanese entertainer Liang Wen-fei, known as the 'Goddess of Guoguang,' has openly shared her evolving political views. She recently admitted to previously supporting Ko Wen-je, the former chairman of the Taiwan People's Party, but now expresses deep disappointment.

Liang explained that her initial support stemmed from a genuine desire for political alternatives beyond the established blue and green camps. She believed a third force could bring new possibilities to Taiwanese society. However, witnessing subsequent developments has left her questioning her past judgment.

Liang stressed that while political parties can rotate and politicians can be disliked, the fundamental right of the people to choose must be preserved. Her current focus is on the sustainability of Taiwan's democratic system, urging politicians to honor their commitments to voters rather than disappoint their supporters.
