Taiwanese stars brave desert dunes and waterfall climbs in Pingtung adventure

Hosts and guests of the Taiwanese variety show "Go! Go! Go!" embarked on an adventurous excursion to the southern Taiwanese county of Pingtung, braving the scorching sun for unique desert and waterfall experiences. The team, including hosts Ah Xiang and Lan Lan, along with guest Ci Ci, explored the vast Jiu Peng desert and the challenging Qi Kong waterfall.

The adventure began in the expansive Jiu Peng desert, where a "Desert King" jeep instructor led them on a thrilling sand-driving experience. The intense ride through the dunes left some guests, like Yang Xiu Hui and Ci Ci, screaming and wishing they were back home. The group then transitioned to ATVs, facing even more demanding obstacles that included navigating through jungles and crossing rivers, culminating in a "slide" down a 60-degree sand slope, made more dramatic when Ah Xiang suddenly released the brakes, eliciting screams from Yang Xiu Hui.

Following the desert escapades, the show's hosts guided the audience to the Qi Kong waterfall, located at the tail end of the Central Mountain Range. Their quest for a "natural infinity pool" involved a strenuous climb up an almost 85-degree vertical cliff face. Despite being over 60, Yang Xiu Hui demonstrated remarkable physical strength and courage, being the first to reach the summit.

Upon reaching the waterfall, Ah Xiang humorously revealed that a "handrail" was available nearby, much to the exasperation and amusement of the group. In playful retaliation, Yang Xiu Hui doused Ah Xiang with spring water, ensuring he had his fill. The lighthearted moment caused Ci Ci to nearly lose her balance from laughter.
