Takukuru builds first modern staff housing in Momba

The Corruption Prevention and Combating Agency (Takukuru) has initiated a significant housing project for its employees in Momba District, Songwe Region. This development marks a historic first for the institution, as it embarks on constructing modern residential units for its staff across the country.

Currently, six housing units, collectively valued at Sh750 million, are in the final stages of completion. This project aims to address the living conditions of Takukuru civil servants, providing them with improved and contemporary accommodation. The initiative underscores the agency's commitment to its workforce's welfare.

The construction in Momba District is a pilot phase for what is intended to be a nationwide rollout. By providing better housing, Takukuru seeks to enhance employee morale and retention, recognizing that adequate living conditions are crucial for the productivity and dedication of its personnel in their fight against corruption.
