Tamannaah Bhatia commences shooting of ‘Ragini 3’ in London

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has officially commenced shooting for her next project, the date-night horror entertainer "Ragini 3," in London. The film, a production of Balaji Motion Pictures, has begun its principal photography, with a theatrical release slated for 2027.

Bhatia shared a glimpse from the sets on Wednesday, posting a picture with a clapboard bearing the film's title. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, "Ragini 3" aims to take the well-known Indian horror franchise into a new and thrilling chapter. The movie is being filmed across various locations in London, and further information regarding the cast and plot is expected to be unveiled in the upcoming months.

The "Ragini MMS" franchise, which inspired "Ragini 3," first premiered in 2012 with "Ragini MMS." This found-footage horror film, reportedly based on real-life events, starred Rajkummar Rao and Kainaz Motivala and achieved unexpected box-office success. It was followed by "Ragini MMS 2" in 2014, featuring Sunny Leone, which combined horror elements with glamour.

Tamannaah Bhatia has established herself as a prominent actress in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu cinema. Her career began with the Hindi film "Chand Sa Roshan Chehra" in 2005, and she gained significant recognition in South Indian films like "Happy Days" and "Baahubali."
