Tang Phuc marks decade in music with mini-concert, thanks fans for support

Vietnamese singer Tang Phuc recently hosted a mini-concert, reflecting on his nearly decade-long journey in the music industry. The event served as a milestone, which he described as a "first birthday party," symbolizing his growth and dedication to music. He performed a selection of his well-known songs, including "Sau ngần ấy năm" and "Thành phố cô đơn," taking the audience through significant moments in his career.

Tang Phuc shared his early struggles, recalling a time when he "always craved the audience to really focus" when he sang. After gaining recognition through television and social media covers, he had more opportunities for professional music production. However, he faced creative differences with his management company, which prioritized reality TV shows while he wanted to invest more in music and visual products. This divergence led him to work independently, a period he described as "very difficult," during which he experimented with various music genres and released songs for different occasions with little success, admitting "nobody listened to" his music then.

The singer emphasized the profound importance of his fans, whom he affectionately calls the "sun" of his life. He stated that their encouragement, love, feedback, and support have been his greatest motivation through challenging phases in both his life and career. "That affection makes me feel warmer and supports me a lot in life," he said. The mini-concert also celebrated his professional relationships, with appearances by close friend and collaborator Kai Dinh, who performed "Trái đất ôm mặt trời," and the group Nha Chin Muoi, highlighting the supportive community within the Vietnamese music scene.
