Tangerang Selatan allocates Rp51.5 billion for civil servants' 13th-month salary

The Tangerang Selatan city government is preparing Rp51.5 billion to cover the 13th-month salary for its civil servants and retirees. This financial allocation aims to ensure timely payment for approximately 17,315 eligible recipients within the region.

Hadi Widodo, Head of the Tangerang Selatan Regional Finance and Asset Agency, confirmed the budget. The disbursement follows Presidential Regulation No. 9 of 2026, which governs the provision of holiday allowances and 13th-month salaries for state apparatus, pensioners, and beneficiaries. Widodo stated that the ledger for these payments is currently being established across all regional perangkat daerah (work units).

For retired civil servants, the payment will be managed by PT TASPEN (Persero) through its network of 46 payment partners nationwide. Henra, Corporate Secretary of TASPEN, assured that the funds would be disbursed automatically without requiring recipients to re-authenticate. The 13th-month salary is calculated based on the income received in May 2026 and is exempt from deductions for contributions, pension credits, or income tax, as these are covered by the government. Entitled individuals who also receive pensions or survivor benefits will still receive their 13th-month salary.
