Tanker truck crash into house kills one in Dong Nai, Vietnam

A tragic accident occurred on July 17, 2026, in Dong Nai city, Vietnam, when a tanker truck veered off the road and crashed into a residential house. The incident, which took place on DT.752C street in Binh Minh Hamlet, Minh Duc Commune, resulted in the death of one person and injured another.

Initial reports indicate that around 2:30 PM, the truck driver, identified as N.T.L., 30, from Dong Nai city, was traveling on DT.752C. While navigating a junction, the tanker truck suddenly swerved and crashed directly into a house situated along the roadside. The impact struck residents L.T.V., 36, also from Binh Minh Hamlet, Minh Duc Commune, and another individual inside the home.

Both individuals sustained severe injuries. Despite being rushed to the hospital, L.T.V. succumbed to her injuries. The force of the crash also caused significant damage, partially collapsing a section of the house.

Traffic police from the Dong Nai City Public Security Department, in coordination with Minh Duc Commune police, were quickly dispatched to the scene. They managed traffic flow and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
