Taoyuan Airport Terminal 1 Outer Ring Road Crash: Car Hits Lamppost, Driver Hospitalized

A car collided with a lamppost base near the first parking lot on the outer ring road of Terminal 1 at Taoyuan Airport on Tuesday morning. The driver, who was sent to the hospital, showed no obvious external injuries and tested zero for alcohol.

The accident occurred around 8:01 AM. According to preliminary investigations by airport police, the vehicle veered right, hitting the curb before striking the lamppost. The car sustained significant damage to its right side, and its airbags deployed.
