Taoyuan Disability Sports Carnival Draws Over 1,000 Participants for Inclusive Fun

Taoyuan City celebrated its 115th Disability Sports Carnival today, drawing more than 1,000 participants with disabilities and their families. The event offered a day of inclusive fun, featuring competitions, interactive challenges, and fitness assessments. Attendees also enjoyed diverse talent performances and a charity fair, fostering joy and connection among participants and their loved ones.

Mayor Chang San-cheng, attending the opening ceremony, highlighted the city government's dedication to sports equality. He stressed the goal of creating a welcoming and inclusive sports environment where citizens of all abilities can experience the joy of sports. The carnival serves as a vital platform for individuals with disabilities to express themselves, build confidence, and forge friendships through friendly competition and interactive activities.
