Taufik appointed Acting Secretary of Aceh Province after M. Nasir's dismissal

Taufik has been appointed as the Acting Secretary of Aceh Province, taking over from M. Nasir, who was dismissed from his position by President Prabowo Subianto via a Presidential Decree.

The handover of the decree appointing Taufik as Acting Regional Secretary took place at the Aceh Civil Service Agency (BKA) on Monday (August 24). The ceremony was observed online by the Deputy Governor of Aceh, Fadhlullah, from the office of the Aceh Government Liaison Body in Jakarta.

Taufik boasts an extensive career as a bureaucrat, particularly within the Aceh Provincial Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) agency. He joined the civil service in 1992 and began his bureaucratic journey in 2008 as the Head of the General Affairs Subdivision at the Secretariat of the Aceh Mining and Energy Service. His career progressed through various leadership roles, including Secretary of the Mining and Energy Service in 2014 and Secretary of the Energy and Mineral Resources Service in 2017.

He continued to climb the ranks, becoming Head of the Aceh ESDM Agency in 2024. Shortly thereafter, he was appointed Acting Regent of Aceh Tenggara in October 2024. In February 2026, Taufik returned to lead a provincial agency as the Head of the Aceh Housing and Settlement Area Agency. Now, he has been entrusted with the new mandate to serve as Acting Regional Secretary of Aceh.

Academically, Taufik holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Iskandar Thani Technical College in Banda Aceh (2001) and a master's degree in Public Policy from Merdeka University Malang (2005). He has also completed several government leadership education and training programs.

Previously, President Prabowo Subianto officially honored the dismissal of M. Nasir from his position as Secretary of Aceh Province. The dismissal was stipulated in Presidential Decree No. 95/TPA/2026, signed in Jakarta on August 21, 2026. Following this decree, Governor Muzakir Manaf promptly appointed Taufik as Acting Regional Secretary, while M. Nasir was reassigned to the position of Head of the Aceh Provincial Library and Archives Agency.
