Tauro FC starts new era with victory over CAI

Tauro FC kicked off a new chapter under head coach Franklin Narváez with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Club Atlético Independiente (CAI) in the Torneo Apertura 2026. The win at COS Sports Plaza on the sixth matchday provided an immediate boost for Narváez's tenure.

The home team established an early lead when Cristian Quintero found the net just 10 minutes into the game, putting Tauro FC ahead 1-0. This early goal allowed the team to play with increased confidence throughout the match. Despite both teams maintaining 50% possession, Tauro FC proved more clinical in front of goal, registering 11 shots compared to CAI's five.
