Teacher allegedly killed ex-girlfriend in school, then died by suicide

Authorities are investigating a suspected murder-suicide in Taufkirchen an der Pram, Austria, where a 29-year-old teacher allegedly killed his ex-girlfriend, who also worked as a teacher at the same school. The victim's body was found in the school library.

The alarm was raised by the victim's relatives when she failed to return home. A search led to the discovery of her body in the school library. Investigators believe the alleged perpetrator fled the scene in his car after the incident.

His vehicle later crashed into a tree several kilometers from the school.
