Teen boy caught hooning at Bunnings car park with pistol in his pants

A 17-year-old boy is facing numerous charges after allegedly engaging in dangerous driving and possessing a firearm in a public car park in Villawood, Western Sydney. Police observed the teenager performing burnouts in a Bunnings car park on Friday night.

Upon arresting the driver, officers discovered he was disqualified from driving, having been prohibited for 12 months. Further checks revealed the vehicle's number plates were not registered to the ute. A search of the vehicle and the driver allegedly uncovered a Glock pistol concealed in the boy's pants.

Authorities seized several items from the car, including another Glock firearm, two knives, a balaclava, cannabis, and additional unregistered number plates. The teenager was taken to Cabramatta Police Station and charged with 10 offenses, encompassing weapons, drug, and six driving-related charges.

A witness, identified as Anwar, commented on the incident, stating that while such activities are not uncommon in the area, this particular event was excessive. He expressed concern for families and people simply trying to enjoy the space, citing too much drama. The boy, whose identity is legally protected, was scheduled to appear at Parramatta Children's Court on Saturday.
