Teenager arrested for allegedly stabbing mother to death during argument

A teenage boy has been arrested in Incheon, South Korea, for allegedly killing his mother during a domestic dispute. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on August 8th in an apartment in Samsan-dong, Bupyeong-gu.

The suspect, identified as an 18-year-old male referred to as A-군, reportedly used a knife during the argument, resulting in his mother's death. According to police reports, A-군 had dropped out of high school and allegedly surrendered himself to authorities shortly after the stabbing.

Investigators from the Bupyeong Police Station have taken A-군 into custody on suspicion of murder. They are currently examining the circumstances surrounding the fatal altercation and determining the motive behind the dispute between mother and son.

Police confirmed that no other family members were present in the apartment at the time of the incident. An official stated, "We will investigate the reason for the argument with his mother later." Authorities are reviewing the possibility of seeking an arrest warrant for A-군 as the investigation proceeds.
