Teenager critically injured in motorcycle-truck collision

A 16-year-old motorcyclist is in critical condition after a severe collision with a truck in Langenhagen, Germany. The accident occurred on the morning of August 28, 2026, when the teenager, from Burgwedel, was riding his motorcycle.

According to initial police reports, the 38-year-old truck driver was attempting to make a left turn at the intersection of Münchener Straße and Flughafenstraße, heading towards the airport. At the same time, the young motorcyclist was traveling in the same direction towards Flughafenstraße. The collision happened within the intersection, with the motorcycle striking the passenger side of the truck.

Emergency services transported the injured teenager to a hospital, where he is receiving treatment for life-threatening injuries. The truck driver reportedly escaped the incident unharmed. Police have launched an investigation into the exact circumstances and sequence of events that led to the crash.
