Teenager kills grandmother in Uruguay, claims video game orders

A shocking crime has gripped Uruguay after a 13-year-old girl allegedly murdered her 81-year-old grandmother, claiming she was following orders from an international online video game. The victim was discovered with ten stab wounds in her Montevideo apartment.

Neighbors reported hearing screams before the girl herself called emergency services, initially claiming her grandmother had committed suicide. However, police arriving at the scene quickly dismissed this, noting a cleaned knife and blood-stained cloth near the body.

The teenager, who reportedly suffers from schizophrenia and had recently left a psychiatric hospital without medical clearance, was in the care of her grandmother at the time of the incident. Her mother found the girl attempting to wash the alleged murder weapon.

Following her confession, the girl underwent psychiatric evaluations to determine her awareness of her actions. Authorities have seized her phone and the weapon as the investigation continues into this disturbing case.
