Telin Forum ignites AI transformation from ambition to business impact

PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin) has launched ignitePRO, a dedicated forum for enterprise clients, as part of the Bali Annual Telkom International Conference (BATIC) 2026. Under the theme "The Enabled Enterprise," the event aims to bridge the gap between AI ambitions and concrete business outcomes.

IgnitePRO convenes enterprise leaders, policymakers, technology providers, investors, and digital ecosystem partners. The discussions delve into how artificial intelligence can move beyond theoretical discussions and experiments into practical applications that deliver measurable business value. The forum also addresses the critical capabilities companies need for responsible AI adoption, including technological readiness, robust infrastructure, effective governance, skilled human resources, and strong ecosystem partnerships.

Kharisma, Chief Commercial Officer of Telin, emphasized that current corporate challenges extend beyond deciding whether to adopt AI, cloud, or automation. The real focus must be on ensuring that data, infrastructure, security, personnel, and partners are adequately prepared to support large-scale, reliable execution. He highlighted that TelinPRO serves as a crucial connectivity backbone, empowering enterprises to adapt and thrive in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

The Indonesian government's perspective was presented by Dr. Sonny Hendra Sudaryana, Director of Digital Ecosystem Development at the Ministry of Communication and Digital. He outlined three key priorities for building an AI-ready future for Indonesia: connectivity, growth, and security. Connectivity involves expanding inclusive access, growth focuses on fostering a productive digital ecosystem while strengthening talent, startups, MSMEs, and AI capabilities, and security entails reinforcing personal data protection and national digital defense. He also stressed the importance of developing AI as a sovereign, interoperable, and trustworthy strategy, supported by infrastructure, capital, competencies, governance, and partnerships to drive productivity and economic value.

The ignitePRO agenda is structured around four pillars: Intelligence, Trust, Infrastructure, and Collaboration. These pillars represent the enterprise journey toward realizing scalable AI implementation. The Intelligence pillar, for instance, focuses on the steps required to bring AI into practical application.
