Ten arrested in Afyonkarahisar fatal brawl investigation

An investigation into a deadly armed brawl in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey, has resulted in the arrest of ten suspects. The violent confrontation, which took place on July 13, led to the death of one individual and injuries to another.

Following the initial incident, police apprehended 15 suspects. However, the provincial police department expanded its investigation, leading to the apprehension of three additional individuals. In total, 18 suspects were brought before the Afyonkarahisar courthouse.

After their statements were taken by prosecutors, eight of the suspects were released. The remaining ten were subsequently ordered into custody by the duty criminal court.

The brawl occurred at the Uydukent Minibus Stop in the Dörtyol neighborhood. The victim, identified as Osman Bulaş, the head of the minibus stop, died from his injuries, while another individual, İsmail Ç., was wounded in the altercation.
