Ten Ra families benefit from new water project

Ten families in Vunidralagaci Village, located in the Nalaba district of Ra, are celebrating a significant improvement in their quality of life with the commissioning of a new community water project. This initiative provides them with access to clean and reliable drinking water, a stark contrast to their previous reliance on a nearby creek for daily needs like drinking, cooking, and bathing.

The Vunidralagaci Water Project was made possible through an allocation of over $37,000 from the Ministry's Self-Help Programme. The project is expected to profoundly enhance the villagers' lives, offering better hygiene and sanitation, and providing much-needed peace of mind through easier access to safe water.
