Tennis legend Ilie Năstase cuts contact with daughter, now reportedly homeless

Former tennis champion Ilie Năstase has reportedly severed all ties with his daughter, Charlotte, who is allegedly homeless and soliciting help for food and shelter in the United States. Năstase, a Romanian tennis legend known for his Grand Slam titles and colorful off-court personality, stated that he has no further involvement in his daughter's life.

According to reports, the rift occurred in 2021 after Charlotte began publishing content on the adult subscription platform OnlyFans. Năstase, who was once ranked world No. 1 and is a member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, expressed that he has already invested heavily in his daughter's upbringing, including paying nearly half a million euros for her education.

"I wish her good health, but I ask her to stop these scandals. She is going her own way. I helped her when she needed it, I paid almost half a million euros for her schooling. She is now in the USA, and I am in Romania, I don't care anymore. Everyone has their own life," Năstase was quoted as saying. The former player, who dominated the ATP rankings in 1973 and 1974, appears resigned to his daughter's choices and circumstances, emphasizing their separate paths.
