Terrifying Ryanair Flight: Passenger Partially Sucked Through Broken Window

Panic erupted on a Ryanair flight from Thessaloniki, Greece, to Memmingen, Germany, when a window shattered shortly after takeoff, forcing an emergency landing. Passengers reported hearing a loud bang before the window near one seat broke, with the man occupying the adjacent seat being partially pulled out of the opening.

Eyewitnesses described the terrifying moments, with one telling Greek broadcaster ERT that the passenger's head and shoulders were outside the aircraft. Another passenger managed to hold the man's legs while others helped pull him back inside the cabin as oxygen masks deployed. The 61-year-old Serbian passenger sustained neck injuries, abrasions, and burns, according to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf. He was conscious but in shock and received immediate medical attention upon landing.
