Thailand school shooting: seven killed including suspected attacker, police say

A shooting at a school near Bangkok has left at least seven people dead, including the suspected teenage gunman, in what appears to be Thailand's deadliest mass shooting since 2022. The violence erupted at the prestigious Debsirin Nonthaburi school in Nonthaburi province.

Thai police confirmed that the suspected shooter, identified as a student at the school, first killed his grandparents before carrying out the attack on campus. The Debsirin Nonthaburi school, part of the Debsirin network founded by the Thai royal family, had approximately 3,100 students and 147 teachers in the 2025 academic year.
