Thessaloniki Resident Recounts Terrifying Arson Attack on Apartment Building

A resident of a Thessaloniki apartment building recounted the harrowing experience of an arson attack that engulfed the structure in flames, leading to the death of a 72-year-old woman. Anastasia, who lived on the sixth floor, described the sheer panic that erupted as neighbors from across the street shouted warnings: "Wake up, you're on fire."

Emerging onto her balcony, Anastasia saw smoke already reaching her floor. She urged those outside to come up to her apartment for safety.
