Thompson's wife: Their love began by chance, then she gave him five children

Croatian music star Marko Perković Thompson, known for his energetic concerts, often finds unwavering support from his family. His loved ones frequently attend his shows, cheering him on from the audience or sharing their encouragement on social media. This support is expected to be present as he performs in the city of Vukovar.

Thompson's personal life, though kept largely private, is centered around his wife, Sandra Rogić. He met the Canadian woman of Croatian descent 22 years ago at a concert in Toronto. What began as a casual encounter, with Sandra hoping for a photo with the singer, quickly blossomed into a deep love.

Upon returning to Croatia, Thompson knew Sandra was the one he wanted to spend his life with. They exchanged vows in the church of St. Ilija in Kljaci and held their wedding reception on Valentine's Day in 2006, three years after their civil ceremony. Their family grew with the birth of their first child, son Šimun, in 2003, followed by Ante Mihael in 2005. Their daughter, Diva, arrived two years later, and in 2010, the family welcomed twins Katarina and Cvita.

Seeking a more tranquil life closer to his roots, the couple relocated from Zagreb to Split in 2013, now residing in the Žnjan district. Thompson emphasizes that fatherhood is his most significant role, striving to shield his children from the pressures of his career. He expressed his deep gratitude for his wife's dedication through his song "Samo je ljubav tajna dvaju svjetova," stating it was a small token of thanks for her love and commitment to their large family.
