Three Arrested After Physical Assault; Speeding Citations Issued

Three people were arrested overnight in connection with a physical assault, according to the Reykjavik Metropolitan Police's daily log. The arrests occurred within the jurisdiction of police station three, which covers Kópavogur and Breiðholt.

In addition to the assault arrests, nine individuals were detained for violating Reykjavik's public order ordinance. Some of these individuals were released after questioning, while others were held due to their condition. Police also responded to numerous noise complaints throughout the city, as many people were holding graduation parties.

Separately, two drivers were issued citations for speeding. One was caught driving at 112 kilometers per hour in an 80 km/h zone. The other driver was apprehended for traveling at a staggering 200 km/h in the same speed-limited area. Police also stopped several individuals for speeding and driving under the influence of narcotics.
