Three dead, one injured in highway car crash

Tragedy struck late at night on the Siverek-Diyarbakır highway when a car veered off the road and overturned, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and injuring another.

The accident happened at the 26-kilometer mark of the highway. Initial reports suggest the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the fatal crash. Other drivers who witnessed the incident alerted emergency services.

Health, gendarmerie, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters worked to free the trapped individuals from the wreckage. Paramedics provided initial medical care before transporting the injured person to the hospital for further treatment.

Authorities identified the deceased as Hamza Kesik, 40; Safiye Kesik, 55; and Mizgin Kesik, 25. The injured individual, İhsan Kesik, 31, received treatment at the hospital. The bodies of the victims were taken to the forensic morgue for autopsy after preliminary examinations at the crash site. The gendarmerie has launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
