Three Serbian Citizens Arrested in Ulcinj Crackdown

Montenegrin police have arrested three Serbian citizens in Ulcinj as part of enhanced security measures during the summer season. The arrests included a Serbian national found with cocaine and two drivers who refused to undergo drug testing.

The operation, conducted in beach bars in Donji Štoj, aimed to combat various forms of crime, including drug abuse, and to ensure the safety of tourists and locals. Authorities reported controlling 180 individuals, including two persons of interest. They also inspected vehicles and a quad bike.

During the checks, 15 foreign nationals were found without registered stays in Montenegro and were handed over to immigration inspectors. In one beach bar, a Serbian woman was apprehended for possessing cocaine. Another individual was found with telescopic batons and pepper spray and was operating without a physical security license.

Traffic police also conducted checks, sanctioning 36 out of 45 drivers. Three drivers were arrested: one for driving under the influence of alcohol and two Serbian citizens for refusing drug tests. The police stated these actions are crucial for maintaining overall security.
