Three types of drugs found in Bermejo raid; minor apprehended

An anti-narcotics operation in Bermejo, Tarija, resulted in the discovery of multiple illicit substances and the apprehension of two individuals, one of whom is a minor. The raid, conducted by the anti-narcotics prosecutor's office, uncovered marijuana, cocaine, and the synthetic drug known as tusi, also referred to as pink cocaine.

According to prosecutor Fernando Subia Ruiz, the operation was based on intelligence gathered by anti-drug agents. During the search of a residence, officers found the three types of controlled substances. The prosecutor stated that initial investigative steps are underway, confirming the involvement of two residents of Bermejo, one adult and one minor.

Authorities are currently working to quantify the exact amount of drugs found at the property. The investigation is also exploring the possibility that other individuals may be involved in the drug trafficking operation. Prosecutor Subia Ruiz assured that the law would be applied with full force against all those found responsible.
