Three-Vehicle Collision in Istanbul's Sancaktepe Injures Several

A serious traffic accident occurred in Istanbul's Sancaktepe district early Tuesday morning, involving three vehicles and resulting in injuries. The collision took place around 2:00 AM on Osmangazi Mahallesi Battalgazi Caddesi.

According to initial reports, a car with license plate 41 AHE 681, traveling in one direction, collided with an oncoming jeep (license plate 34 GG 1797) and a taxi whose license plate was not immediately identified. The impact of the crash was significant.

Emergency services, including police, medical teams, and firefighters, were dispatched to the scene following reports from bystanders. Firefighters worked to extricate five individuals who were trapped inside the 41 AHE 681 vehicle. The injured were provided with initial medical treatment at the scene before being transported to hospitals by ambulance.

The accident caused a temporary closure of Battalgazi Caddesi to traffic. The road was reopened after tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles. Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the collision.
