Three Warehouses Burn in Tangerang Selatan; 16 Fire Trucks Deployed

A fire broke out Wednesday at three warehouses in the Taman Tekno industrial area of Tangerang Selatan, Indonesia. The blaze, which started in a mobile phone accessory warehouse, quickly spread to adjacent buildings storing office supplies and toys.

Firefighters deployed 16 trucks and 50 personnel to combat the flames, working to prevent them from spreading further in the densely packed industrial zone. The fire department received the report around 12:10 PM local time.

Efforts to control the fire were complicated by a lack of nearby water sources, forcing firefighters to source water from a considerable distance. Assistance from water tanker trucks helped maintain the firefighting operations.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. While no injuries were reported, authorities are still assessing the extent of the damage. Firefighters continued to work on cooling the site and documenting losses.
