Three Weston Police Officers Die From Suspected Electrocution

Three police officers from the Weston Police Station have died in Beaufort, Malaysia, in an incident believed to be caused by electrocution. The tragic event took place on Jalan Weston, Kampung Weston, around 5:56 PM today.

The victims, identified as two Corporals and one Lance Corporal, were between the ages of 26 and 40. Reports indicate they hailed from different Malaysian states: Kelantan, Terengganu, and Sarawak.

The Sabah Fire and Rescue Department Operations Center received an emergency call regarding the incident at 5:56 PM. A team of seven officers from the Beaufort Fire and Rescue Station, accompanied by a Fire Rescue Tender vehicle, was dispatched to the location, approximately 28 kilometers from the station.

Initial information suggests the three officers sustained fatal electric shocks while at the scene. The precise cause of the electrocution and the circumstances leading to the incident are still under active investigation by the authorities.
