Three workers injured in explosion at steel factory in Bilecik, Turkey

An explosion rocked a steel factory in the Osmaneli Organized Industrial Zone in Bilecik, Turkey, on Wednesday, injuring three workers. The blast occurred in the boiler section of the facility for reasons that remain unknown.

Following the incident, a significant number of emergency personnel, including gendarmerie, AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Authority), health teams, and firefighters, were dispatched to the scene. The immediate response aimed to provide aid to the injured and secure the area.

Two of the three injured workers were transported by ambulance to Osmaneli Mustafa Selahattin Çetintaş State Hospital. The third worker was taken to Bilecik Training and Research Hospital. Reports indicate that the health conditions of all three injured individuals are stable.
