Kazakhstan is bracing for a day of tumultuous weather on June 10, as forecasters predict unstable conditions across the nation. Residents can expect a mix of rain, thunderstorms, and localized hail, particularly in the Akmola, Astana, Kokshetau, Almaty, and Zhetysu regions.

Strong winds are a significant concern, with speeds expected to increase in several areas. Gusts could reach 15–20 meters per second in the Akmola region and up to 20 meters per second in Astana. The Almaty region may experience even stronger gusts, with winds reaching 18–23 meters per second in northern, western, and mountainous areas, and similar speeds anticipated in the Zhetysu region's east and mountains.

Temperatures will present a stark contrast across the country. In the Akmola region, daytime temperatures will hover around 23–28°C, while Astana can expect 26–28°C. The Almaty region's daytime temperatures could reach 30–35°C, with Konaev facing extreme heat of 33–35°C. Zhetysu region is forecast to experience daytime highs of 31–36°C, with mountainous areas remaining cooler.

Specific forecasts indicate potential for heavy precipitation in the west and north of Akmola region. Almaty city will see variable cloudiness with short-term rain and thunderstorms, while Konaev expects no precipitation. The mountainous areas of Almaty and Zhetysu regions will experience cooler temperatures and potential rain and thunderstorms. Turkestan region anticipates short-term rains and thunderstorms in mountainous and foothill areas, with a possible dust storm in the north.
