The vehicle was fired upon while traveling on a route accessing Montevideo. One fan sustained a gunshot wound to his arms and received medical treatment in Uruguay. His condition was reported as favorable, and he was transferred to Buenos Aires on Wednesday.

According to Uruguayan media reports, authorities are investigating the incident and have not ruled out any hypotheses, including the potential involvement of fans from the opposing team, Club Nacional. The match, a playoff for access to the Copa Sudamericana round of 16, saw Tigre secure a 0-3 victory.
