TikToker Remains in Kirikiri Custody over Alleged Cyberbullying of Late Mohbad’s Wife

Popular Nigerian TikToker Oladimeji Hammed, widely recognized as Immunizer, is currently detained at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre, despite a Lagos Magistrate Court granting him bail. The social media influencer has been unable to secure his release due to his failure to meet the strict bail conditions set by the court.

Hammed, 27, pleaded not guilty to six charges filed by the Commissioner of Police, which include allegations of cyberbullying and online harassment. The court mandated that he provide two sureties, each requiring proof of a bank account balance of at least ₦700,000. Additionally, one surety must be a state civil servant, and the other a blood relative. Both sureties are also required to present evidence of current tax compliance.

Prosecutors allege that between February and March 2026, Hammed published a series of social media posts and videos targeting Omowunmi Cynthia Aloba, the widow of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad. These publications reportedly exposed her to public ridicule and hostility, contributing to increased public scrutiny following her husband's death in September 2023. One charge specifically accuses Hammed of publishing nude images and other harmful content intended to harass and humiliate her. The TikToker denies all allegations, and the case has been adjourned for further hearing.
