Tinubu condemns Kaduna attack, orders hunt of perpetrators

President Bola Tinubu has strongly condemned a brutal attack that claimed the lives of approximately 30 residents in Naridon Village, Kaduna State. Describing the incident as a "barbaric act of terror," the President vowed that those responsible would be brought to justice.

Those who seek to destabilise the hard-fought peace and security, which Kaduna State has enjoyed in recent times, will not go unpunished.

The attack, which occurred early Monday, resulted in the deaths of residents, including women and children, and saw several homes set ablaze. In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu characterized the assault as a "cowardly and unprovoked attack on defenceless residents."

I have directed the Armed Forces, police, and relevant intelligence agencies to intensify operations across the affected areas to track down the perpetrators swiftly, secure the release of abducted individuals, and restore normalcy to the region.

"Those who seek to destabilise the hard-fought peace and security, which Kaduna State has enjoyed in recent times, will not go unpunished," the President declared. He extended condolences to the families of the victims, Governor Uba Sani, and the Kaduna State Government. He also assured the affected communities of federal support.
