Tinubu mourns dame Amaechi, mother of ex-transport minister Rotimi Amaechi

President Bola Tinubu has conveyed his deep sorrow following the passing of Dame Ezinne Mary Oduah Amaechi, the mother of former Rivers State Governor and Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi. Dame Amaechi died at the age of 89.

In a message of condolence, President Tinubu remembered the late matriarch as a devout woman of deep Catholic faith. He highlighted her exemplary family values and her unwavering commitment to raising children dedicated to service. The President noted that her life was characterized by love, sacrifice, kindness, and perseverance, qualities that earned her widespread respect and admiration.
