In a strong show of party loyalty, Adamawa State All Progressives Congress (APC) Ward and Local Government Congresses Chairman, Mr. Ephraim Agber, has unequivocally stated that President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid is "not negotiable." Addressing party members during local government congresses in Yola North Local Government Area, Agber asserted that no other contestant poses a threat to Tinubu's presidential ambitions, signaling confidence in an unchallenged second term for the incumbent.

Agber's pronouncements, made amidst the peaceful conduct of the congresses, were interpreted as a clear indication of the APC's internal unity and Tinubu's dominant position within the political landscape. He expressed immense satisfaction with the proceedings, noting that the results of the congresses reinforced the belief that President Tinubu is already assured of a second term without opposition. This sentiment extended to other levels of government, with Agber predicting continued APC control from the House of Assembly to the National Assembly and among the 36 state governors.

From what I saw today during my tour of the local government congresses, it is clear that President Tinubu has no competitor for the presidential election.

Furthermore, Agber urged party faithful in Adamawa State to maintain unity as they look towards future elections. He reiterated the APC's core mission to "rescue the country from the claws of poverty and maladministration," emphasizing that the current government is "people-oriented" and dedicated to delivering the dividends of democracy. The chairman commended the transparent and consensus-driven approach adopted during the congresses, viewing it as a testament to the party's strong internal cohesion. The Adamawa APC congresses are slated to continue on Saturday.
