Tinubu Welcomes Rescue of 308 Abducted Citizens in Kwara, Niger States

President Bola Tinubu has commended the successful rescue of 308 Nigerian citizens abducted in coordinated attacks across Niger and Kwara states. The operation, a significant joint effort by the National Counter-Terrorism Centre, Armed Forces, Department of State Services, and Nigeria Police, resulted in the recovery of victims from the Kainji Lake National Park Forest.

This marked the largest single-day rescue operation by the joint security team.
