Titolo Urges Serbian Businesses to Work With the US on Artificial Intelligence

Alexander Titolo told Serbian business leaders that artificial intelligence should become a central area of cooperation between Serbia and the United States, arguing that choosing reliable partners is the only sensible path for the country.

The US Embassy in Belgrade and the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia held the “Back to Work” reception, where speakers presented the new Strategic Dialogue as opening a new phase in bilateral relations. Titolo called its launch “a huge step forward” and said it showed that both governments intended to deepen ties and take concrete steps toward a better and more prosperous future for their citizens.

“The key to all of this is that this is only the beginning. It is a signal that we are serious about deepening relations,” Titolo told Serbian business representatives at the US ambassador’s residence. He said cooperation with American companies and the US government could give Serbia access to advanced AI technologies designed with protections for civil liberties, state integrity and transparency.

Titolo stressed that the full potential of AI remains unknown, while the rules for its development and use are being established now. He urged Serbian companies to join the discussion, saying businesses drive innovation and economic development and that their decisions could affect employees, commercial activity and Serbia’s broader relationship with the United States.
