TNI Member Stabbed While Breaking Up Karaoke Brawl in Mamuju

A violent altercation at a karaoke venue in Mamuju, West Sulawesi, has led to the death of one man and injuries to a TNI (Indonesian National Armed Forces) member who intervened. The incident occurred early Saturday morning in the parking area of the establishment.

The deceased, identified by the initial T (53), sustained fatal stab wounds. The TNI member, identified as K (41), also suffered stab wounds while attempting to de-escalate the conflict. Another individual, D, reportedly sustained injuries from being beaten.

According to police, the altercation began between the perpetrator, MAF (20), and the victim T. When the TNI member K arrived at the scene after receiving a report, he attempted to separate the brawling individuals but was subsequently attacked and stabbed by MAF.

Authorities have arrested MAF, who is currently undergoing further investigation to determine the full motive and sequence of events. The victim T was pronounced dead after being rushed to the hospital, with medical examinations revealing severe bleeding from stab wounds to his upper left abdomen and left hand. The injured TNI member is in stable condition and receiving intensive care.
